Personality:
Ani Shane is a very caring person and is usually honest with her feelings to her friends. Though she acts cold and makes it seem as if she want nothing to do with anyone at all, she actually yearns to make many friends and to be able to understand them, and to have them understand her.
Her mother was very protective of her which is why she lacks most of the communication skills that most people have. She gets excited about doing things herself and her ownway, but as she always second guesses herself, she also yearns for set instructions so she knows exactly what to do. She doesn't want to cause an inconvenience after all.
If one gets to know her and attain her trust she will slowly start to show more of her unusual side. Trust is something she treasures however so it will take quite a while to attain, though even without trusting someone, if she loves them, then she would do anything for them.
Though most of the time she doesn't seem to care, she is actually a very jumpy person (which is probably why she doesn't like horror films or books.) If something scares her she'll jump, if something terrifies her she'll scream and attempt to run away, and end up tackling someone by accident.

History:
Ani Shane grew up in a protective family. She wasn't allowed to go around the shops by herself, even if her mother was near-by, she was never allowed to attend a sleep over and barely had the chance to visit some of her friends' house. This did not effect her in anyway, however, since her father died of old age and another unknown account, when she was seven, she became anti-social and closed off from many people except for her three close friends. In the end though, they grew apart after they split up in highschool.
It was only then, that she became interested in art, music and books. She would read, draw, sing whistle whenever she was on her own.
One day as she accompanied her mother to a cafe; where her mother was meeting a few old friends, she took note of a nearby gallery. She knew it was a gallery because she could just barely see the corner of a painting. She begged her mother to go, and after a long back and forth conversation, her mother finally gave in and let her go by herself.
“Why don't I keep your sketch book and pencils so you don't lose them.” Is what she called after her as she stood and started for the entrance. In response she simply turned her head to look back and shook her head.
Excited, she quickly turned back to face her goal and hurried to the gallery, accidentally bumping into someone.

“Sorry,” is what she mumbled, as she stepped back and let the person pass. She then followed them inside after wards. She gripped her note book tightly, not wanting to lose it, and then proceeded to do what she went there to do; look at art. (LOL)

Trivia: Ani has never hated another person before, or at least she hasn't consciously accepted that she has or has not. This is because she doesn't believe she has the right to dislike others, and in the end she comes to hate herself. She can be oblivious to most of her surroundings, but once in a while notices particular things, whether they are important or not, and once aquiring this knowledge, either whispers it to herself or tells someone about it.
She carries her notebook with her everywhere, usually with a few pencils and a rubber. She sketches in it whenever she is bored or becomes inspired. It never leaves her side.
She gets really shy whenever anyone looks in it, so she usually snaps it close and makes a scary face, which is actually her “shy but trying to not show it face.” She doesn't know where she gained this reflex.
Ani tends to be quuite clumsy and easily trips on flat, smooth ground. (She also can accidentaly walk into walls.)

It's really easy for her to get cold. Her hands are constantly freezing during autumn, winter and beginning of spring.
